Select the colour number # that closest matches your hair colour. Add the percentage of gray after the number. Example: 4-20 = colour # 4 with 20% gray. Remember that if you do not know your colour number, it is more accurate to mail us a hair sample.
"Ash" VS. "R" VS. Natural:
Colour numbers without an "Ash" or "R" classification are natural tone colours, which means the colour looks neither particularly "ashy", or green, or "redish". However, natural tones tend to fade to the red side rather than the ash side. Ash tones are sometimes prefered to natural tones in order to avoid the tendancy of human hair to fade to red. This doesn't always work. Most ideal colour matches are in the natural series. Red tones are more common than one might think, and are easier to control when recolouring systems.
