The New Supergraft is a development of the Superlight II. It is an all skin system that can be sized to fit any area. The base is made of a super thin stretchable scalp like polyurethane composite. The material holds the hair a better than regular polyurethane and therefore the hair is looped without knots in the front 3/4 inch of the hairline area creating a remarkably natural effect. All hair in the remainder of the system is hand tied with fine single hair knots. The recommended attachment for this system is either full head bond with Eurobond or 3M clear tape with Eurobond for the hairline. Tape is not recommended in the hairline area as it creates a thickness that may be detected if the hair is styled back. The specifications of the Supergraft are similar to our Superlight systems: Density is light to medium; wave is medium or 25mm; hair length is 4 to 5 inches; size is 7" X 9". There is an extra 3/4 inch of the base material without hair in the front. This extra material is used to secure the system to a block for adjustments prior to fitting. It should be cut back to the hairline before attaching the system to the scalp. |
