When ordering a custom hair system you can use our simple custom molding kit. This kit includes everything needed, including detailed instructions, to make a professional and accurate plaster mold for your hair system. The kit uses plaster-of-Paris for the actual mold. This method has been used by DHR and in our Toronto Clinic for over 40 years. It is the most accurate and stable method for molding. As we store your mold at the factory for future orders, the mold will last through the production of several hair systems before needing to be replaced. Clients can also choose to use a simple tape template to place orders, however we do prefer the plaster mold for accuracy.
