HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR NATURAL HAIR WIG
Consult Your Stylist – Discuss styling techniques and precautions with your hairstylist. Avoid brushing the hair system while the cap is still wet, as the knots are more fragile. It is recommended to dry the base with a hair dryer before styling.
Shampooing – Lather a moisturizing shampoo in your palms, then gently press it into the hair, starting at the crown and moving toward the front. Do not massage with fingertips. If washing in the shower, use only your palms.
Rinsing – Rinse the shampoo out with gently running lukewarm water. Avoid applying excessive pressure to the knots at the base, as this may cause premature hair loss.
Conditioning & Treatment – Apply a moisturizing conditioner and rinse thoroughly. For dry or weakened hair, use an intense treatment (Hair mask) for a deeper conditioning effect.
Drying – Use a towel to gently press out excess water. Do not rub or scrub the hair.
Leave-In Care – If the hair tips become dry or tangled, spray on a Leave-In Conditioner and do not rinse.
Styling – Use a wide-tooth comb or sculpting brush for styling. For additional hair care recommendations, consult your hair care specialist.
Important: Washing your wig or hair prosthesis daily or scrubbing vigorously can lead to premature hair loss and reduce the longevity of your unit.
