French Lace with Polyurethane Border
The center of the Superlight 5 is constructed from fine French lace, providing excellent ventilation and allowing the natural scalp tone to show through the base.
Surrounding the lace is a thin clear polyurethane border, which provides additional durability and a convenient surface for tape or liquid adhesive. On our stock model, the polyurethane border is approximately 2 inches wide, allowing the base to be cut down and customized for different sizing requirements.
Natural Scalloped Hairline
The front features thin clear skin with a #5 scalloped hairline. The scalloped edge helps break up the outline of the hairline, creating a softer and more natural-looking transition at the front.
